Girl Scout Cookies have always been favorites of everyone in my family. And for the most part, we all like the same kinds... and that's the big problem...
See, we all have our own stashes. My mom gets crazy if you eat outside the kitchen and therefore makes us all keep the cookies in the kitchen. I pay for mine, my sister pays for hers, and my mom pays for some for the entire family. Well, the family stash always goes first. Never lasts more than a couple days. I think my sister and I realize we can get free cookies from mom and just take all we can get from that stash. Once the family's supply is gone, everyone makes huge notes on their packages that say these are so-and-so's! KEEP OUT! Well, that note doesn't usually work because we still have my dad who is greedy for cookies.
He will go all out with the stealing. He even does it right in front of you. You'll be right near the cupboard and he'll take out your box and pull one... or two... or three cookies out...
It's a terrible thing and you have to watch your stash. My sister actually got so desperate last year she wrapped her boxes in notes of KEEP OUT! and everyday would count the cookies. I actually found it kind of sad because she wouldn't eat them. She wanted to save them and make the most of each and every box. By the time we were packing up to move from North Carolina to Oregon, my mom threw most of them out... *sigh*
They really do bring out the worst in my family... It's crazy!

Now you have gone and burst my bubble about your Dad ! LOL !
Now you MUST tell us what kind of cookies they are ! You may just end up with a secret stash !

That's the total opposite of my house! We buy 2 boxes from the neighbor girls. Then I hand them to the boys and tell them to eat them all now. I don't need the extra temptation of calories. The boys have no problem following these orders. Both boxes are gone in a matter of minutes!
Wolf *who can easily eat a full box of cookies in one sitting*
Well, I usually end up with three to five boxes or so... but they're $4 now, which is $.25 increase from last year, so I had to settle for three... I got one kind that sounded French to me... and then Samoas, and Tagalongs =)

Okay, you need to move back to the east coast! They are only $3.50 here in our part of SC. I found a very similar cookie to the caramel delights at Dollar General for less than $2.
