So, we went to the bookstore for my sister... spent about 1/2 an hour in there... And then we went to the at&t store... And, my mom finally got her iPhone that she's been wanting since before her birthday in June... She spent about 45 minutes in there while they figured it all out, while my sister and I sat in the car... bored to tears... with the AC running and the car on....
From there, we went to the mall across the street and she looked down as she was parking to see that she only had about 6 miles until she was out of gas... oops...
We all kept it in our heads as we went into the mall to get lunch... As we came into the food court, we were greeted by a sample woman for the Japanese cusine restaurant... We liked the sample... A LOT! It was for Terriaki chicken.... So, we got the #1 Terriaki special with double meat for 99 cents more =)
We all split it and we hammered it down =D
We bought my dad a new cell phone cover and my mom realized there was a Victoria's Secret and she had a coupon for a free pair of underwear... Rolling my eyes, I stood outside as I listened for about 10 minutes to a screaming Chinese woman on her cell phone... Try to picture this:
This screaming Chinese woman in a huge mall that was probably cussing out the person on the other line in Chinese... And every time someone passed by, she got louder!
...And I stood there for ten minutes... listening to a woman screaming in the middle of a mall in a different language... outside a Victoria's Secret store while my mom got her free poka-dot underwear... I couldn't help but giggle as a kid who had stopped behind her looked and listened to her and then sent me a look like how long have you been listening to this and how have you put up with it for more than two minutes?
So, anyways... my mom FINALLY came out and we proceeded on to the next store... A shoe store... See, the joke with us that I try to get out of there as soon as possible... so that my mom doesn't want to get anything..... And, I hate getting shoes. In fact, I have a pair of my normal shoes and some sandals... and a pair of flip flops that I never wear... and that's it... I put off buying new shoes as long as possible before my mom forces me to get new ones... That's how much I hate going shoe shopping...
I popped in there... Tried on three of one shoe... None fit... So, I tried on one pair of another shoe... They fit and I told my mom let's go pay hoping she wouldn't find something that would cause us to stay in that dreaded place any longer... Well... I failed in doing that... Apparently her mind wandered off and tried a new tactic of coming up with an excuse about how my sister needed new shoes... (NO SHE DOESN'T! SHE ALREADY HAS 10 PAIRS AT HOME!!! Ugggg...)
Forced to come along, she focused on my sister getting new shoes for a few seconds... Then, she went for her shoe isle... NOOOOO! I quickly ran in front of her to try to get her attention away from them..... but it was too late.... She'd found something that caught her eye...... I......failed.....
Well, we spent about 7 more minutes in there (not as bad as I had expected)... and we payed and left. She wanted to look around in the mall more... She found a rundown place upstairs with some really nice rugs... with some great deals... but, she wanted to measure before she payed a hundred dollars or so...
After that, we left and got to the car... Her GPS told her that in 0.4 miles there was a gas station... After driving around to the point where it said we had 3 miles left, we stopped at a spa and asked directions... Few, there was one in another mile. She found it, got gas... but it was incredibly close... She had about a mile left of gas...
But, my mom's wandering mind drove her into the conveniently located RadioShack across the road after she got gas... *sigh*... At this point, I had to go to the bathroom and we were still 15 minutes away at that point...
And, of course... I told her I had to go to the bathroom and she wanted to go make an appointment at the spa that gave her directions... *deep sigh*... She told us to stay in the car... She'd only be three minutes... which, she was... *phew*
I made it just in time... *phew-er*

I've always enjoyed people watching. It's even more fun to hang out with someone and make up with folks are saying that you see. I could have had a real fun time dubbing that Chinese woman! LOL!

Hilarious, thanks for the laugh. Sorry about the shopping. I used to love it and just don't seem to anymore. Even if someone gives me a gift certificate, I still hate going shopping.
